At least once a month, the Principal’s Leadership Council meets with Mrs. Kirk to discuss new ways to bring students together. Members unite to create a variety of interactive activities, many of which are to be completed during homeroom.
“We do a lot of school bonding activities. We did the gingerbread house and the coloring,” said senior member Killian Laoo. “We try to get as many people involved as possible. It’s not so much the policies; it’s more about connecting with students.”
The council also prioritizes promoting kindness to as many people as possible, as she hopes to reach out to all corners of the student body.
“We do kind things for teachers and bus drivers,” said sophomore member Alanah Peters. “[Mrs. Kirk] does a lot of nice things for the school and [that] truly shows how good of a principal she is.”
