Beta Club is an exclusive club that values academic success.
The sponsors, librarians Britni Sauceman and Shannon Silvers, organize the induction in the auditorium. The senior presidents lead the initiation for the students and families.
Any junior or senior with a 93+ average is invited to join the club. Those who choose to join pay membership dues and are inducted into the club at an evening ceremony in November.
“We have candles that you come up and light on the stage to indicate your joining the club,” said Sauceman.
Beta values academic achievement, character, leadership, and service.
“Hearing about Beta Club and [how] it was academically and leadership focused, I was like ‘this is perfect’,” said returning member, Abigail Waldorf.
