PISCES SEASON STARTS: Pisces birthdays begin on Feb. 19 and will cease on March 20th. This marks a time of inward focus and spirituality after the long creative period of Aquarius season. 

MARS DIRECT IN CANCER: Mars leaves retrograde on Feb. 23, falling into the sign of Cancer. 

MINOR VENUS EVENTS: Three separate minor events will occur with Venus this week. While normally these minor events aren’t too important, all three happening to the same planet within three days makes them note-worthy.

Venus Semi-square Uranus: On Feb. 18, Venus is separated by 45 degrees from Uranus, meaning it is semi-square with Uranus. This can cause uncertainty regarding relationships. 

Venus Semi-sextile Mercury: Also on Feb. 18, Venus is thirty degrees from Mercury, meaning they are semi-sextile. This can cause miscommunication based on assumptions. 

Venus Contra-parallel Mercury: Lastly, on Feb. 19 and 20, Venus and Mercury have the same degrees of declination but one is North and the other is South, meaning they are contra-parallel. This can cause an urge to communicate, but also a need to over-analyze what one is communicating about. 

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Now is Aries’ time to rest before their season starts in March. This time of rest may also include some introspection due to the Pisces season. Aries’ ruling sign, Mars, goes direct in Cancer on the 23rd, bringing Aries’ spark back and making them more energized . This may contradict with Pisces season, thus Aries may experience this energization in small bursts until Pisces season ends. 

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Taurus is still craving the same meaningful connections as last week, which is even more boosted by the start of Pisces season which makes Taurus sick of relationships that aren’t meaningful. Mercury going Direct also restores a momentum in Taurus to communicate and gives them courage to express themselves. 

Gemini (May 21-June 21)

The start of Pisces season gives Gemini the urge to step-up and pursue long-term goals they may have neglected in the past. If these long-term goals are financial or professional (this includes college-related goals!), Mercury going direct will further boost Gemini towards them. 

Cancer (June 22-July 22)

The start of Pisces season encourages other water signs, including Cancer, to dream big, even if it’s outside their comfort zone. This Pisces energy also drives Cancer to broaden their horizons through travel, studying, or other means of exploration. Mars also goes direct in Cancer on the 23rd, giving Cancers their energy back after feeling stagnant for some time.  

Leo (July 23-August 22)

Pisces season further pushes Leo into self-reflection about what they need to let go of to move forward. This is helped by Mars going direct in Cancer, causing any emotional baggage to be lifted from Leo.

Virgo (August 23-September 22)

The start of Pisces season leads Virgo to question if they are as open as they want or need to be with their friends and loved ones. Mars goes direct in Cancer only a few days later, bringing  clarity to Virgo’s social life and perhaps to who they should let in or not. 

Libra (September 23-October 23)

Libra should start prioritizing their own well-being to mark the start of Pisces season. Mars going direct will help Libra move forward towards their academic or professional goals that may have been stagnant. 

Scorpio (October 24-November 21)

Pisces season brings back joy and whimsy to Scorpio’s life that they may have been missing or avoiding. This may be ruined or boosted by Mars going direct in Cancer on the 23rd as it inspires Scorpio to take risks they normally wouldn’t take. 

Sagittarius (November 22-December 21)

Pisces season shifts Sagittarius’ focus back to the home, whether that be the house/apartment itself or the people within it. Mars going direct in Cancer on the 23rd may take away any obscurity about emotional or financial troubles Sagittarius is facing.  

Capricorn (December 22-January 19)

Words will become especially important to Capricorn during Pisces season. Capricorn should do more communication and writing—try journaling or finally write those essays you’ve been procrastinating on. Mars going direct in Cancer will bring clarity to what Capricorn communicates or writes, along with bringing clarity to their relationships.

Aquarius (January 20-February 18)

Finances and/or emotional stability will be at the top of Aquarius’ mind during Pisces season. However, they may be distracted from their introspection by a sudden motivation to work on the 23rd due to Mars finally going direct. 

Pisces (February 19-March 20)

As their season starts, Pisces will feel more empowered and may have more courage to express themselves. This also marks their annual reset and a time to relax without worries. Mars going direct will inspire more creativity in Pisces as well, urging them to start or continue creative projects.
