Tucked away in the depths of Tennessee High is the art basement. Down there, Art Club members find themselves making their best drawings, best paintings, and best jokes.
The club flourishes on the creativity of new or previous members. Artists can find a space to relax and express themselves in any art form; many young artists feel safe in the community they’ve created.
“It’s a comfort to be able to talk to anyone down there about anything,” said sophomore Branch Sword.
The club serves as a haven and prioritizes a time for artists to excel. As well as supporting the students, Art Club enlightens the sponsors.
“Art students are like normal students but cooler,” said sponsor Mr. Quales.
