Helping the community is Civinettes’ number one priority. Girls, ranging from freshmen to seniors, are unified and are driven by one thing: giving back.
“Getting together with some of my closest friends and knowing I’m doing something that helps others gives me something to look forward to,” said Libby Boyles.
The club tends to meet once or twice a month to discuss fundraisers and upcoming events. You can spot Civinettes members sporting blue or purple to any game they can make it to—and they don’t want you to be afraid to say hi!
“My favorite thing about Civinettes is how our members give back to the community, ” said sponsor Julie Bittinger. “We do our annual trunk or treat and the Johnia Berry Toy Drive; Civinettes is 100% community-based.”
