Setting high standards, winning conferences, and developing bonds together are all activities that the boy’s volleyball team loves to do.
“The team is more than just a team to me,” said Aiden Rodgers, senior volleyball player. “It’s like my second family—the connections I have with other guys have made my high school experience.”
Starting late January, the boys will once again begin their routine practices. Meeting after school in Viking Hall everyday that they can, the boys practice in hopes of winning yet another competition.
“The boys work hard,” said Brad Goodman. “They have a lot of spirit and passion when together.”
This year, the team is planning to have a comeback and do their best with learning how to work together again. They are ready to grow into better players and people.
“I’ve been in this club since my freshman year and have never wanted to leave,” said Cayden Williams, leader of the club. “Winning and playing as a team can make [anyone] grow as a person.”
