In its national mission to promote leadership and build character, Beta Club seeks hard-working, intelligent, and responsible members. Club president, senior Arabella Taylor, feels that Beta is the perfect club to represent impassioned students who prioritize hard work.
“I intend to leave a mark on Beta Club as an honorable president,” said Taylor
The club, co-advised by librarians Britni Sauceman and Shannon Silvers, is an academic club that encourages studiousness and sportsmanship from all of the club’s participants. While sponsoring Beta may appear as a grueling task, they find a way to savor their favorite moments.
“I enjoy seeing everyone at the induction ceremony; I think it’s great that we have such a nice event each year to recognize some of the academic achievements of our students,” said Sauceman.
Being invited into Beta Club is an achievement in itself, but being accepted couldn’t be any more rewarding.
“It’s kind of like a sign of achievement, working hard throughout your years of high school to get to that point where you can be recognized,” says senior Raegan Cuddy.
